Notice of Annual Report 2024-2025

NOTICE NO: 87 /2025-2026
Mr T. Mawonga the Municipal Manager, as duly instructed by the Speaker of Senqu
Local Municipality, Mrs N.R Gwabini, hereby gives notice that in terms of Section 21 (1)
a and b, (2) and (4) of the Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, read with Section
127 (5) of Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003, that
at an Ordinary Council Meeting held on Wednesday, 28 January 2026 at 11H00 at the
Dumisani Mqungquthu Council Chamber Lady Grey considered the Annual Report
2024/2025. The Council resolved to make the Annual Report available on media
platforms and the Municipal website (www.senqu.gov.za) for public comments and
public representation. The document will also be made available at Municipal libraries
in Sterskpruit, Barkley East, Rhodes, Rossouw and Lady Grey for inspection.
Stakeholders and members of the public are given an opportunity to submit written
presentations addressed to The Municipal Manager,Referenced ( 2024/2025 Annual
Report Comments) The Communities and public are given 21 days from the date of the
advert to comment on the report .
Any person who cannot read or write will be assisted at the said office during office
hours (08:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 16:00) by having his /her comments or
representations reduced in writing.
