NOTICE INTERMS OF SECTION 116(3) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL
FINANACE MANAGEMENT ACT, 2003 (ACT NO 56 0F 2003)
Notice is hereby given in terms of section 116(3) of the Local Government
Municipal Finance Management Act,2003 (Act no 56 of 2003) that the
municipality intends amending a lease agreement it concluded with for the
long-term lease of ERF 68 in Sterkspruit to catalyze the development of a
fresh filling station, Fresh Stop and Restaurants and by Hooter Holdings.
The municipality has received a request to amend the lease period from 10
years to 20 years, with an option for further extension.
Notice is hereby given that (a) The proposed plans and detailed designs for
the proposed development can be accessed in www.senqu.gov.za or viewed
at the municipal offices at 79 Main Street, Sterkspruit,9762.
Members of the community are hereby invited to submit comments and or
objections in respect of the proposed amendment to the time period of the
lease agreement. Comments and or objection must be submitted in writing
to the following email address mokhantson@senqu.gov.za or may be hand
delivered to no 19 Murray Street, Lady Grey. Submissions must be NOT
LATER than close of business on Friday 30 May 2025
